Five Short Reminders During Covid-19

Five Short Reminders During Covid-19

We are currently living in such an uncertain time. News outlets, social media, and medical professionals are trying to give us a clear picture of everything that is happening in the world around us. Still, honestly, it can all become extraordinarily unpredictable + overwhelming! Here are five small reminders to get you through the day-by-day uncertainty.

1. You belong here is in the moment in time for a reason

No matter the outlook you have on this current situation, the fact is you where placed on this Earth during this pandemic for a reason. Make sure your offering to this world is unique and individual. Your existence on this timeline was not a mistake. Try to make the most of each moment.

2. Giving your all does not mean you have to do it all

Be as productive as you want during this uncertain time. If staring at the ceiling rejuvenates you, do not blink. If expressing your creative side through paint or pottery makes you feel human again- get messy! Allow creativity to be your escape and your beautiful contribution.

3. Your value is not connected to your accomplishments.

One unproductive day does not mean you have a barren life! "Me time" has no clear definition. If you are struggling with ways to keep yourself responsible during this time, check out the following article for tips on how to make the most of every single day!

4. Do not be afraid to feel all of your emotions, thoroughly

Whatever you are feeling, however you are feeling, get it out your head + make it tangible. Do not feel pressure to post on social media during this time. If you are not one-hundred percent confident with the content you plan on posting, refrain until you have material that makes you proud.

5. Even though the day is filled with uncertainty, it does not mean it is not God-given.

Time may seem to blur together, but try to keep up with your calendar. Every day inside is a great day above ground. Bring meaning to your moments by contributing positive energy to the world. People tend to develop a negative thought process through uncertain times. Spread joy, not germs!
