Five Things Successful Women Do Before 7:00 AM

Five Things Successful Women Do Before 7:00 AM

Just Aneissa is a Boss Babes-only community. We utilize our mornings, we are active, do not believe in the snooze button, and most importantly, are incredibly intentional with our God-given time. The most successful women abide by the following five (simple and completely free) steps to a fulfilling morning.

1. Set your alarm one hour earlier

If you claim you do not have enough time to take care of yourself, your side hustle, or your hobbies during the day, try getting up sixty minutes earlier. Early rising frees up an hour of quiet time to strictly focus on you. You can dedicate this hour to prayer + devotion, cultivating your skincare routine, working out, or anything you feel is necessary to have a productive day.

2 Drink a glass of water

If coffee runs through your veins as it does here at JA Headquarters, you are going to want to hydrate before you caffeinate. A bottle of (warm) water will balance your pH levels. It will also help the absorption of any vitamins you consume in the morning while simultaneously flushing out toxins from the night before.

3. No screen time

Do not prematurely push blue light into your eyes moments after waking up. Over time, this routine could lead to eye damage and headaches. Have a slow productive morning free from social media distractions and the influence of others. A screen-free morning allows you to set the tone for your day completely.

4. Make your bed

After a long day of work, chores, errands, or traveling, you are going to want to come home to a tidy work area. Making your bed is a simple + practical task that says, hey you, it's time to relax again. No matter how tired you are, no matter how busy you are for the day, do not leave your bedroom (your sanctuary) in disarray.

5. Prep your meals for the day

Trust us, the last thing you want to do is scarf down junk food late at night because you did not plan. If you are going to eat out or prepare a meal at home, at least know what you will consume ahead of time. This could help you save money and not indulge in unnecessary cheat meals. You should never stress your body before a meal. You want to slow down and receive your nourishment. Planning your meals in the morning will alleviate unwanted stress.
